I had the pleasure of sitting down with Steve Ryan on The ARQIV Podcast to share our founding story, and we geeked out on the physics. š„ Steve is an astute science investigator who cuts through the noise on AI, physics, and the science reshaping how we live and work.
I explained how hydraulic systems leak fluid and waste energy, and why that makes them a poor fit for the digital, sensor-driven machines OEMs want to build now. I shared what a belt-driven cylinder actually looks like, and how it delivers hydraulic-like force without a drop of fluid. We also got into our work with Anthony Liftgates, the leading manufacturer of trucking liftgates.
