Leaders are taking notice of the future of heavy machinery

Last week, Representative Vince Fong (CA-20) visited RISE to tour our lab and watch live demos of our active programs. 

Rep. Fong sits on three committees: 1) Transportation and Infrastructure, 2) Science, Space, and Technology, and 3) Homeland Security. These committees help shape how the United States supports innovation in infrastructure, manufacturing, and defense. 

Edwards Air Force Base is located in his district, and when the Congressman learned our Super Jammer robotic arm supports munitions handling for the airmen stationed there, the tour turned into a conversation about modernizing critical infrastructure and maintaining the US’ technical edge.

Visits like this are more proof that the problem we're solving, modernizing a hydraulic standard stuck in the 19th century, has broad market relevance. Industry leaders, customers, investors, and now policymakers are recognizing the same shift, with RISE helping lead the transition.
