Weāre thrilled to announce that Justin Shriver has joined RISE as Head of Software Engineering.
Justin brings 15+ years leading software teams at iRobot, GE Energy, Dresser, and TRW Automotive. His strength is building safety-critical systems ā the kind of software that requires zero margin of error.
At iRobot, he led the SLAM and Perception team behind the localization and machine learning that lets autonomous robots navigate the real world. At TRW Automotive, he designed stability control systems for production vehicle programs, including the Ford Windstar / Aerostar and GM Escalade / Yukon. Justin holds a Master's in Control Systems from the University of Michigan in addition to 15 patents.
Justin's focus for the last decade and a half has been consistent: make autonomous machines both smarter and safer. This is critical for our work at RISE, where Justin now leads the software behind every Beltdraulicā¢ cylinder and machine we ship.
