We visited Eglin Air Force Base — here's what we learned
Our team recently visited Eglin Air Force Base in Florida in support of our Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI) program to modernize a 60+ year old, 7,000-pound lift truck for the U.S. military.
During the site visit, we met with users and stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of their missions and priorities. We had a chance to observe tight clearance loading operations on aircraft firsthand, collecting details that will directly inform key design decisions as we develop solutions for their use case.
The visit also gave us a direct view into how the Munitions Materiel Handling Equipment team at Eglin AFB drives innovation across the entire armament and munitions community.
These operators need technology that works the first time, every time. That's the standard our Beltdraulic™ systems are built for, and we look forward to growing our footprint across defense programs that demand top-speed reliability and efficiency.
As we celebrate 250 years of independence as the United States of America this Fourth of July, I'm thinking about the service members whose missions depend on equipment that can't fail. Building technology worthy of that trust means everything to our team.
