CHI ✈️ DTW ✈️ AUS: We’re making moves!
From Chicago to Detroit to Austin, the RISE team just wrapped three high-impact events focused on the future of defense and industrial machinery.
🔧 Chicago - IVT Expo
RISE connected with 30+ qualified sales leads at last week’s iVT Expo. Many were integrators serving customers ready to move on from hydraulics and screw actuators. Their customers are asking for something better, and Beltdraulic is answering that call, significantly broadening our reach.
Several attendees had seen our first-gen Beltdraulic cylinder at DZOMUSA back in December 2024. At iVT, they experienced firsthand how far we’ve advanced, introducing a second-generation design that’s double-acting, faster, built with fewer parts, and ready for manufacturing.
Unlike massive tradeshows, iVT offered an intimate setting where we could have richer conversations, build stronger relationships, and dive deep into real-world applications.
🔧 Detroit - Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering & Technology Symposium (GVSETS)
Our key takeaway from GVSETS is that the Army is pushing hard for greater agility. That includes modernizing sustainment practices, especially in forward service and repair capabilities in forward operating bases and contested environments.
RISE is meeting this need with our ongoing Phase 1 SBIR project with Army AMCOM (Aviation and Missile Command) and Letterkenny Army Depot. We’re actively building a requirements list and generating machine concepts that meet their material handling needs. Based on early traction and wins, we’re preparing to apply for a follow-on contract to develop this machine.
🚀 Fed Supernova - Austin
Fed Supernova brought together the DoD, industry, and dual-use startups to accelerate defense innovation. There was significant demand for high-performance fluid-free systems in the skies and on the ground - solutions that reduce maintenance, improve reliability, and eliminate the complexity of hydraulics. These requirements are a perfect fit for our Beltdraulic components; dual-use applications are sky high!
From CHI to DTW to AUS, the conversations made it clear that the future of motion control is fluid-free, and RISE is leading the charge. 🦾
